A unique opportunity to really see behind the scenes in one of Ongar’s favourite established restaurants. Come and cook with the award-winning chefs in the Vojan restaurant facilitated by Karen Bush from Pickled Penguin. These fun evenings build your confidence and skills and you get to eat what you have prepared, you can also take home what you cannot manage to eat on the night. The monthly sessions are on the third Monday of the month, cost only £30 including a drink, spices and specially designed recipe cards to try to recreate the dishes at home. Each month a variety of dishes are cooked including a selection of starters, main courses, side dishes, rice and/or naan bread.
You can also purchase vouchers for a cooking club for your friends or relatives. Ideal for the person who has everything that you never know what to get.
These sessions now need to be pre-booked and a 50% deposit paid in advance. This is due to the number of last minute cancellations that we have had throughout the year.
